I used to be a fan of Fr. Z. I still read him regularly, but his commentariat seemed to have a certain... disdain... for permanent deacons, and while Fr. Z. doesn't visibly share that, there is an undercurrent that rises to the fore whenever permanent diaconal continence* is discussed.
I have been getting fed up with the Silicon Valley companies and their political ideology and their active censoring of conservative thought. I had heard about gab.com and their commitment to free speech, so I decided to give them a try.
They were in the news as the "place that nazis who were kicked off of Twitter went". Now, the term "nazi" in these articles seems to mean "those who don't cleave to every single aspect of leftist thought". So I signed up for a Gab account and looked at my first timeline.
(I read this the first time on Eject, Eject, Eject. This was written right after hurricane Katrina pounded New orleans. I went to look for it to re-read it and the site appears to be down, I get 404 errors. I am republishing this without permission. Should I get asked by Bill Whittle to take it down, I will. -- Admin)
